Dr. Tanguay, also a Rhode Island native, graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences in 1999. She completed her veterinary training at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 2006. She then went on to complete a one year internship in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the New England Animal Medical Center in Massachusetts.

She has been with Abbott Valley Veterinary Center since August of 2007. Dr. Tanguay is an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who greatly enjoys working with her patients. Similarly, she is committed to bringing the highest level of care to all of her patients. She has an eternally positive attitude which is a pleasure to be around.
