The Abbott Valley Veterinary Center, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Joyce R. Gifford D.V.M. The practice has grown from one doctor in 1994 to its current four doctors supported by fifteen full and part time employees. In 1994 the practice was located in a leased 1440 sq foot space.

In 2003 it was relocated to a state of the art 4000 sq. foot facility with three exam rooms, a light filled, comfortable waiting room and a large efficient treatment, surgery and recovery area for pets.

In 2012, our peers voted us as being one of the 'Top Vets' in RI., appearing in Rhode Island Monthly.

The Center’s goal is to provide clients and their pets with outstanding quality veterinary care in a clean, comfortable and compassionate setting. We strive to achieve this goal by demanding the highest professional standards of our veterinarians and support staff.
