Our in-house laboratory allows quick blood analysis for critical patient care. For less urgent patients we use accredited outside veterinary diagnostic laboratories. We often have results within 24 hours to help us manage your pets care as efficiently as possible.

All radiology services including interpretation are done at our facility. We offer diagnostic digital x-ray services for general medicine and dentistry. We also have an outside boarded Radiologist available for remote consultation.

Diagnostic Ultrasounds
An ultrasound is a useful tool when evaluating heart conditions, internal organ function, evaluating cancer patients and diagnosing pregnancy. At our center we have in-house ultrasound diagnostics (echocardopgraphy and abdominal studies) available through a number of boarded veterinary specialists that visit our practice on a weekly basis as well as limited urgent care availability with our staff doctors.

Anesthesia
When general anesthesia is required for your pet every precaution is taken to ensure safe induction, monitoring and recovery. In order to minimize any risk we recommend pre-anesthetic blood testing which can help detect any underlying disease that might complicate your pets recovery.

Spay & Neuter
Our staff is skilled in elective surgical procedures including spays and neuters. In addition, we are now offering an alternative to a full Ovariohysterectomy (OVH) with an Ovariectomy. This is a less invasive procedure offering the same health benefits as an OVH but performed in a shorter time with less discomfort for many patients

We offer in-house diagnostic cardiology services including EKGs and Echocardiograms. We have an in-house boarded Cardiologist who consults with our staff doctors and performs Echocardiograms weekly. Our staff is well versed in the management of more complex cardiac diseases including Valvular Disease, Congestive Heart Failure and congenital diseases.

Ophthalmology
Our veterinary staff can diagnose and treat ocular disease during physical exams such as corneal ulcers, uveitis, indolent ulcers, “Cherry Eye” and others. We offer Tonometry for measuring intraocular pressures for the early diagnosis of Glaucoma. We also offer advanced surgical management for non-healing corneal ulcers.

Hospitalization
We offer excellent nursing care and admitted patient services for those pets requiring hospitalization for an illness or procedure. We have up to date monitoring equipment, an oxygen cage and IV infusion pumps to help manage critical patients. We will help facilitate referrals to regional hospitals if your pet needs extended in-patient care.
