We also offer non-elective and urgent surgical procedures such as growth removal, Cystotomy (for bladder stone removal), Gastrotomy and other abdominal surgeries. For more complex surgical cases we have boarded surgeons who schedules procedures such as fracture repairs and ACL repairs on an as-needed basis.

We perform general pet surgery for a number of medical reasons. This common surgery can be used for most anything non-joint or bone-related.
Why would my pet need pet surgery?
Veterinary surgery is recommended for a variety of reasons. The most common surgeries are soft tissue surgeries for animals are hernia repairs and mass removals. More advanced soft tissue surgeries include cystotomy, abdominal exploratory surgery, and splenectomy.
When would surgery be needed?
Surgeries are used for a wide array of medical conditions. These include "routine" procedures such as mass removals, trauma, and emergency surgery, wound management, and reconstructive procedures.
