Veterinary internal medicine is a term used to describe a variety of specializations that focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases in animals.

One of our strengths at the Center is our interest and skill in helping patients with more complex medical diseases such as Diabetes, Cushing's Disease, Addison's Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Auto-immune disorders, and Neurological diseases such as Epilepsy.
Three of our staff doctors completed optional Medical and Surgical Internships at large teaching referral hospitals prior to working in general practice. This advanced training plus our commitment to Continuing Education allows us to successfully manage complex medical cases on site. We are happy to refer clients when necessary or at the client's request. We have an excellent relationship with regional specialty hospitals such as TUFTS VETS in Walpole MA and Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in East Greenwich.
